Due to the nature of salsa dancing that involves repeated physical contact with multiple people, and the fact that the  corona virus pandemic is ongoing with high levels of cases, the following safety measures are in place at all Sweetlead Salsa events.

1. Attending our events

DO NOT ATTEND any of our events if you have any viral, cold/flu like symptoms or test positive for Covid.  Even if you are asymptomatic, please do not attend.   Instead stay home/ get tested.

2. Voluntary Lateral Flow Testing (Encouraged)

We no longer ask for proof of a negative test but recommend that those who have access to/ can afford tests continue to build some level of testing into your weekly dance routine. 

3. Mask Wearing

You are more than welcome to wear a mask if you choose.  We are also fortunate to have a venue with good ventilation.

4. Hand Hygiene

Pay careful attention to hand hygiene by washing/ sanitising your hands regularly.  We have multiple hand sanitiser stations around the room.
